William McDowell received three Stellar Award nominations for "Withholding Nothing,The wonderful and highly spiritual album that has given worshipers around the world a sense of true worship." It has been confirm by both critics and fans as a wonderful piece and was therefore nominated this year in the Praise & Worship CD of the Year and Traditional CD of the Year categories. McDowell was also nominated for Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year.

A true spiritual worshiper, William McDowell also received his first-ever Grammy Award nomination for Best Gospel Album. Released in 2013, "Withholding Nothing," debuted at Number 1 simultaneously on the Billboard Top Gospel and Praise & Worship charts. The album generated two singles "Withholding Nothing" and "My Heart Sings.".
